The stage is set in Japan in the year 20XX, a not-so-distant future. Everything has been digitized, and people live in a convenient era where they can complete everything within their living spaces. Although freedom of speech is controlled, the world has become more convenient, and people can live relaxed and prolonged lives. On the other hand, this can also be seen as a slow and lengthy death. Virtual spaces have developed, and everyone can access the metaverse from home to enjoy entertainment within it.
One day, a young person with the avatar name "ICQ" (Ico), who is disillusioned with days that seem to be just dying away, discovers archived live footage data of a rapper from the 2020s. The music contained strong and passionate words that could no longer exist in the year 20XX. Along with friends who are inspired by this, they form "ReVers3:x" (Reverse Cross) to change the world. They hack the virtual space, create a stage in the central city of TOKYO, and guerrilla-style project the three-dimensional images of the rapper, starting to broadcast the music to the people.
Lost Lyrics Digging
Digging up the living messages of the 2020s, with each hacked live performance, people and cities within the metaverse transform. In response, digital art by corresponding artists begins to color the cityscape.
"ReVers3:x" is a project that focuses on XR Live experiences using the latest technologies, including Volumetric Capture and game engines. The project aims to collaborate (cross) with various elements such as planning and producing physical live events in the real world, exhibition events, and NFTs.
